It isn't pretty, and the wires are a little too big for the solder pads, but it works very well, and was done in less than ideal conditions. It's soldering electronics, not sculpture welding. As long as the solder flows well enough to make enough contact to prevent heating during load, appearances make no dofference. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That said cold solder joints increase resistance of the circuit and are prone to breaking loose so having shiny solder joints is a real thing.
