Then I wouldn't expect much to happen, but hopefully they come out the other end and don't get stuck somewhere. You want it powered? There are capsules for transmitting internal body temp. Just disconnect the power and enjoy. Gold leaf circuit traces, gelatin-encapsulated organic pn junctions, and maybe a sensor can be incorporated with the battery pack to make the lights go out when you "blow out the candles".
