Hey guys I have been using a Syma for a while and a neighbor got mine stuck in a tree. I am looking to upgrade to a quad that can carry a gopro. I am a student so my budget is not much. Any suggestions either DIY builds or assembled quads? Thanks@

If you just want video you don't need to buy a goPro; there are Syma models and others that have built in video for under a hundred bucks.

Hey I already own a Gopro hero 3 black and thus I am hoping to use that. I was hoping to use a 250 class from Hobbyking like the one that Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ  showed but that is backordered. Thanks would love any help!

For a few extra bucks you can build the Alien-X 450 Quadcopter.

How much does the goPro weigh? I have a feeling it would be straining the limits of the FPV250 kit. I agree you should look at the original 450 or the Alien-X config.

Low budget option is to add a 808 #16 keychain camera to Syma. You get decent video for about $45.

To give you some specific info - I built the fpv250 kit. The first camera I tried to attach weighed ~4 ounces. The quad would lift it, but it was like watching a small car tow a trailer.

Ok, thanks, I guess I will go with the 450. Is it the same to build as the 250 on KH
