I have watched in great interest some of the Speeding up your router episodes and am very interested in doing some of their projects. However I have a surewest router which does not allow me to access it. Is there a way to circumvent this? Can I just buy my own router and replace the one they gave me? It's a comtrend and does not have an external modem. It's all contained in the router and plugs directly into wall.
