G+_Steve Willetts
I found this, and wondered if it could be done with a Raspberry Pi? It would be fantastic for teaching my Scouts about contour lines for map reading http://www.viralforest.com/simple-idea-behind-mind-blowing-3d-interactive-sandbox/
G+_Ben Reese
I doubt it would be feasible on a Raspberry Pi. The recommended specs call for a Core i7. To get that performance from Raspberry Pi, you'd have to cluster several together. Even then you'd be better off just buying the i7 (though I suspect an i5 will suffice). G+_Jeff Brand
Based on the cpu and video specs listed in the requirements, the Pi doesn't have enough power to drive it. I also hadn't checked for source, but you would need to compile it for the cpu architecture and probably fix a lot more to substitute 3d acceleration. A NUC would get you closer with less hassle, depending on video options.
