G+_Thom Thomas
How is this different from Wifi Analyzer which is free? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer
G+_William Buck
That's what I was wondering, what is the difference? Is there enough of a difference to justify the cost?
G+_Greg M
I am sticking with the older free version myself. They have done the same thing on the Windows side going to a paid version.
G+_William Buck
I have no problem paying for good software (developers have to eat)Just wondering if there is enough new functionality that it approaches the laptop version.Hope someone bites the bullet and tries the new paid version.(Please post your review for us.)? G+_Thom Thomas
I looked at the screen grabs - this $10 app doesn't seem to do much more than the free app. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong. I used to use netstumbler on my windows PCs but quit needing it once I moved off iPhone and found what has become an essential tool in my professional day to day: the free WiFi Analyzer. I wish the dev farproc would sell an ad-free version just do I could give him money.? One thing I haven't tried to do with Android WiFi tools is to do a geographical heat map of APs. Would be much easier than carrying around a laptop.
