If you already have a firewall in place, a good content filter isn't going to run on a PI. My favorite free content filter is OSSIM locally, and opendns family shield for a DNS based service.

I use OpenDNS at home and it works well. I think there have been a couple other recent discussions here about Pi Hole which will probably do the job, but it's more for ad blocking.

 

I don't think I'd heard of OSSIM, but I may check that out too.
