Yayyy! I found a kindred soul! Just watched New Screen Savers, I immediately knew what backpack Alex Lindsey had the moment he brought it on screen. I LOOVE my 5.11 (pronounced five-eleven) Rush 24. 24 as in "24 hours alone in the woods." They also have a 12 and a 72 versions. I've had it 4 years now. It's been across Europe and back with me. When it falls apart, I will buy another one. The straps on it are called MOLLE or PALS webbing. It allows for extra pouches that are literally woven on. My name tape is SEWN on so that nobody can steal it easily. The pouch on the right is a sunglasses holder. Pouch on the left is for small tools I occasionally need. I carry cables in it, a 17" laptop. All the same stuff Alex has. I am usually the MacGyver of any group I'm in. Flat against my back is a stiff pouch that I use for carrying papers I don't want to wrinkle. Or It can be used for a water bladder. I love my Rush 24!
