G+_George Kozi
I can't decide if this is incredibly funny, or colossally sad. At this point, i'm seriously wondering when the first Apple Temple will be consecrated. It's just a company that makes electronics, people... not the gateway to Nirvana. Originally shared by Chris Jenkins In this article, a rabid Apple fanboy tries to tell the Woz he's wrong about the Apple Watch. Seriously. "That's not what Apple Watch Edition is for, though. This version of the device exists to make Apple Watch the first wearable computer that transcends function and form, that combines elegant jewelry with practical use, that makes people think differently about wearable computers." Dude, you literally just repeated an Apple commercial back at the co-founder of the company. Put the fucking kool-aid down. You've drank Jim Jones levels of it at this point. http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/steve-wozniak-apple-watch-edition-wont-move-the-world-forward
G+_Christopher Parsons
I have always like Apple, though most things were and still are out of my price range. I believe that the outrages prices on the watches are to drain the money from the people that have too much to know what to do with. It is very clear to see and if someone can't see that, then they are blind. At the end of the day it's just a company.
G+_Ned Jeffery
Lol "transcends function and form" that is the biggest load of marketing bull crap I have ever heard. Function is what actually changes peoples lives and moves the world forward. The Apple II was legendary because people used it, not because it looked pretty. It was not an idol that filled people with wonder and awe, it was just a computer! This whole "making wearables relevant" thing is just another way of saying it will be popular and sell lots. If that happens it will change Western culture, sure. But it won't make our lives better, it won't "move the world forward". That's up to the 'function' part, not the form. G+_Randy Hudson
The actual purpose of the Apple Watch Edition and it's ridiculous price isn't to sell gold watches. I doubt Apple sells more than a handful of them. The purpose is to generate media hype thus bringing a lot of attention to the Apple Watches people will actually buy, and to Apple in general. G+_Shane Simmons
The Apple Watch will either do extremely well, or it won't. Apple doesn't always hit home runs, and anyone who has followed Apple for a long time knows this. The Cult of Apple is getting extremely irritating; take, for example, the recent claims that Apple invented USB C, and the anger that ensued when others said, hey, you know, there WERE engineers from other companies involved...
