G+_Elizabeth Whitmire Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 Maybe 10 years for 3D printers and scanners to have enough resolution to make that possible. The 3D printer that will ship to me in September has a resolution of, I believe, 100 microns, but I don't know how that compares to a fingerprint.
