G+_George Kozi
I'm getting so tired of tech journalists lining up to spit over the Atlantic. They seem just a tad too eager to do it. How about this ladies and gentlemen opinion makers: You may disagree, but Europe is doing what it thinks is best, according to the laws that apply here. May we do that? Pretty please... Or should we just roll over and play dead?
G+_Thomas Behrens
While I agree Europeans have the right to work within there law just as Americans have the right to work within there laws the problem is when they intersect. With the internet having no borders to speak of how do you deal with things then. Use Google as the perfect example. They are an American company why should they have to follow the rules of a non American government. Just as a non American company would not be required to follow American laws. Granted things get more complex when you start opening satellite branches. But I feel the same rules should apply. Just my 2 cents.
