G+_George Kozi
LOL Leo Laporte Kevin Rose I've been using the Dvorak keyboard since the early 2000's... and it works just fine :D All it takes to switch is about one week of aggravation before the qwerty muscle memory fades. G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
Ok, but are you more efficient with that keyboard layout?
G+_George Kozi
I think so. With the amount of PC gaming I do, I'm sure I'd have RSI by now if I hadn't switched to Dvorak. With typing (10 finger), it's also easier. There is a lot less movement required.
G+_Mike Trieu (MegasChara)
Heh, I had the same level of aggravation switching to Colemak and back. I found myself quite proficient in either mode, to be honest.
G+_George Kozi
That first week was hell week, but after that, I started to notice the benefits.
G+_Randy Hudson
So where do you buy a laptop with a Dvorak keyboard??
G+_George Kozi
That's the problem... I have a normal keyboard, with a set of Dvorak layout stickers on the keys. (Windows allows me to switch to a Dvorak layout via software.)
G+_Randy Hudson
Well at least it's possible then.
G+_Robert Betancourt
I am upgrading y mac mini which is now seven years old and the keyboard works fine, however, the computer is getting to be a pain while two dogs are runnning in my yard and people screaming. G+_Timothy Hamlett
Hmm isn't there one-handed keyboard layout? Might be useful when working on two machines or in a situation when you only have one free hand
