G+_George Kozi
Well, Chrome still sucks... and blows too. The videos on the new site get stuck at random intervals when played in Chrome. Firefox is okay. Remember the days when Chrome was all new and fresh? That wasn't so long ago... You'd think that the Geek Grand Army at Google would be able to fix the damn thing, but noooooo.... G+_Paul Tobeck
Finally had to give up on Chrome and go back to Firefox. It's really sad that Chrome used to be considered a lightweight browser and Firefox was "bloated" by comparison, but the past 12-15 months on Chrome have been terrible. Any page with embedded video was completely unusable. I shouldn't need 8GB of RAM to smoothly scroll a webpage!
G+_George Kozi
I am actually looking forward to Edge. One more month and I'll have it. (It's a pity they renamed it. I liked "Spartan")
G+_Paul Tobeck
George Kozi Yes, Spartan had a nice ring to it! Looking forward to trying it as well. Firefox has been better than Chrome, but only marginally so. There's an opportunity here to take a big piece of the browser market, let's hope Microsoft did it right. G+_George Kozi
They should.... they got enough experience with what was messed up in IE, so if they have two cents worth of smarts, they won't make the same mistakes again.
G+_David Pick
Having tried Edge in Windows Technical Preview. It looks nice. But performance so far has felt at times worse then I.E. Maybe it will get better by release date. But it just doesn't feel so far like it will replace my using chrome or firefox as my daily browser. G+_Randy Hudson
Don't forget that while Sparta put up a good fight, in the end they were all slaughtered. Maybe not the best name after all.

G+_Randy Hudson
Considering that the average consumer will completely miss that reference ?David Pick .... It's little wonder they decided against it.?
G+_Dave Trautman
Paul Tobeck — yes let's hope they get it right. Funny to find this discussion today, Just last weekend I decided to switch back to Firefox for a while and see if all the improvements they did are working out. I am pleased to find that my battery lasts longer with Firefox. I was not a fan of loading up my Chrome with add-ons and plug-ins but it just seemed more and more sluggish. I was happy to see how zippy Safari was, but I've had some issues with a couple of key sites I need to access so I haven't been using Safari for some time now. I've even kept a copy of the OmniWeb browser on my machine for times when I wanted yet another opinion on speed and accurate rendering of designs. I find Firefox is pulling be back into their sphere. It might take a lot more for Chrome to draw be back. I hope "Edge" gives us all a new and speedy experience of the web. From the testing I've done it renders really well and doesn't need any special IE headers to see some sophisticated pages. Maybe we're all just 'edge' cases here. G+_Randy Hudson
I mainly only used Firefox when I wanted privacy (along with TOR). Otherwise I've not used it much at all.
G+_seb mitchell
On my chromebox the flash player works fine for twit live. At times I have major issues with flosoft on my chromecast, freezing and spinning wheel thing.
G+_seb mitchell
With memory usage on chrome, there may be some hope, they have a new memory team and hopefully they will make more progress with their Oilpan project. - "Oilpan replaces reference counting of Blink objects with a tracing garbage collector"
G+_Dave Peters
George Kozi you forgot to take into account the most important detail, The Geek Grand Army at Google could care less what does and does not work for the end user so long as the product still mines them information that's my viewpoint on things anyway
