G+_Michael Heinz
Just a heads up on the HK 250 quad copter kit - apparently they no longer include the servo cables. They are not listed on the web site and were not in the box. (Not a huge problem for me - my controller still hasn't shown up...) https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=52863
G+_Barry Brown
I didn't get any in mine, either. That was a couple months ago. Luckily I had some from a previous quad build.
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Yeah... they revved their kits and the new ones don't include the leads. :(
G+_Michael Heinz
On the upside, it was $20 bucks cheaper than the price you originally posted, so I've got that going for me. ;-) If only I knew when that controller was going to show up....! G+_Glenn Ford
Michael Heinz? which controller did you order? I bought the laser 230 frame along with it to use instead and the kk2 board?
G+_Michael Heinz
The KK2, same as you. Had to order from the west coast warehouse (I'm east coast) because the kit was out of stock in the east - but then the order spent several days in the "Received" state before getting shipped. After it was shipped I got a rather garbled email apologizing about something (unidentified) possibly being missing from my order - but I had no idea what was missing till the order arrived. They credited my account and I've ordered the replacement from the east coast warehouse but, sure enough, it's been in the "Received" state since Saturday.... G+_Glenn Ford
Michael Heinz?? yeah I don't order anything till it says in stock, never had it change after I ordered it tho, I live in the UK so can take a while planning for me ??
G+_Tom Johnson
Hello im looking for a good quadcopter with a camera thats not overly expensive can anyone point me in the right direction?
G+_Glenn Ford
Thomas Johnson? I've heard good things about this one but I've never flown one, but for a beginner 1st quad it's cheap enough http://www.amazon.co.uk/Version-Syma-Camera-Quadcopter-Helicopter/dp/B00K0I23V6
G+_Michael Heinz
For getting started with something inexpensive, the three choices are Syma, Hubsan and UDI. I have the UDI818a and it's been extremely satisfactory. The only downside is you really need to buy extra batteries.
