G+_Michael Heinz
So, what's the best way to mount your antenna? Let it dangle? strap it next to the battery?
G+_Eddie Foy
free air away from all you can, and match polarization between RF points.
G+_Michael Heinz
I'm afraid I didn't understand a word of that.
G+_Eddie Foy
What is the antenna doing? WiFi? Quad RC? FPV? What type of antenna? Dipole, colinear, yagi, cloverleaf, etc.? In general you want an antenna away from any conductive mass, (unless mass is used as the RF ground. But for quad battery would not be) You want both ends pointed the same way. If like your standard rubber-duck WiFi, both devices vertical or horizontal. If its a RC receiver, the manual should tell you how to run it. Your orig post was a bit vague. Kinda like asking how long is a piece of string.
