G+_Michael Heinz
So, I'm tuning my quadcopter, and I've run into a couple of interesting observations and I'm hoping for some feedback: First, on my first frame, the quad had a habit of turning counter-clockwise occasionally for no apparent reason. Usually it was just a few degrees, rarely much more. I assumed it was related to my one dodgy motor - but the problem is much worse on the second frame, with the new motors. Second, after trying to tune my PI settings, they're actually much higher than the defaults - has that been anyone else's experience? (This is on my FPV250 frame with the KK controller.) G+_Nick Whitworth
On my FlySky T6, the sticks didn't center correctly. MultiWii was showing them to be centered around 1520 (instead of 1500). I used the trims on my radio to get all the channels as close to center as I could. That stopped the drifting and yaw problems I had. I think the KK just shows you a 0 for center, with positive and negative numbers for the direction. Check to make sure they are at 0.
G+_Wayne Black
I went with the CC3D flight controller and the OpenPilot software made it a piece of cake setting it up. The Wizard walks you through everything.
G+_Dan Salter
I had a clockwise turn I couldn't figure out. It was particularly prominent when punching the power. Turned out to be a loose prop that was slipping and hence losing power. Check they are all tight enough before heading to the KK.
