So, I just discovered the switches sub-menu on my FS-T6 transmitter and I realized that the switch that was assigned to "idle mode" was the switch I've been using for auto-level.

The manual is completely useless here - can anyone tell me what "idle mode" is supposed to do or if it's a problem? I don't see a way to actually turn off these settings completely.

I set both the Idle Mode and Throttle Hold switches to SwD. It's out of the way so I don't accidentally hit it. Later, I actually removed that switch, and replaced it with a 3 position switch, so it's actually impossible to hit it now.

I actually don't know what those two functions are for. I think Idle is for gas engine planes (idle up so they warm up faster maybe?) and I'm pretty sure that Throttle Hold has something to do with Helicopters.

The Flight Mode switch lets you set an alternate endpoints for your sticks. I have my Pitch and Roll set to 65%. I can throw the sticks all the way, and my quad doesn't go flying off. It makes it a lot more flyable, especially if you have super powerful motors.
