G+_George Kozi
I'm re-posting this here, because it is tech, it's relevant, and it irritates the pants off of me. Bah! Originally shared by George Kozi Google Chrome Instead of messing around with what shade of grey to use next in Chrome, how about sorting out the bugs first? This isn't something isolated, or something new. Just google "can't remove Chrome extension". #Chromies #Chrome
G+_Lawrence Forman
Try unchecking "extensions" in the advanced sync settings.

G+_Darko Vrši?
Check if your computer is infected! I never had that kind of behavior, and I'm on DEV version!
G+_George Kozi
no infection to be found. This is a Chrome issue. It keeps loading an old list of extensions, and if I remove one, it doesn't update that list... So next time I start up Chrome, the bloody thing is there again. G+_Dave Peters
Just a question, but is it possible you have cross platform sync activated and the extension is still on another device's version of Chrome?
G+_George Kozi
I only had... have, this thing on the desktop. That extension is called Sumo Paint. I tried it out long time ago, and then forgot about it. Then a few weeks ago, that icon shows up and the battle started. Google has been messing around with a lot of stuff in the background lately. They always do just before I/O., and things start to act weird.
