I've been counting the # of successful flights between crashes and posting the count at work, the way they do on "safety first" signs (you know - '354 days since the last decapitation. Safety First!")

 

Anyway - important question: If the legs of my quad come flying off in mid-air because I'm practicing flat spins - does that count as a successful flight or a crash? I mean - I did bring the quad back safely...?

Landing gear is a designed failure point with easy repair. Does not count as a crash

Any parts lost during flight is simply emergency weight reduction. :)

I have to admit, I think it flew better without the legs....
