Sigh. Fixable but I'm still not sure what happened - did the strap actually snap in mid-air? It's hard to believe but it's the only thing that explains what happened. I had velcro stickers on the top plate and the battery to reinforce the strap, both stickers were still in place after the crash but the stress of the battery leaving the quad was enough to snap the PDB.

I like the data overlays.  Are they from OSD, or post-processing via log info?

 

BTW: My guess is that the Gs were a bit too much for that strap.  Once that failed, the Velcro couldn't hold the battery alone.

Yeah, the strap came with the quad - and since Armattan assembled it for me, I'm thinking about dinging them for replacement parts.

Not that hard to believe. The battery is heavy and fiberglass is sharp. The G forces probably shifted the battery all over the place and the frame cut through the strap.

 

What Flight controller are you using to get that data, or is that an addon?

Naze32 clone (F1 FC from Armattan's) running Cleanflight. The F1 FC has 8 MB of flash on board, which fills in about 10 minutes.
