Unfortunately, there's half a dozen things that could cause that... Proxy settings (Chrome uses IE's), whether or not your logged into Google, add-ons, root kit, modified host file.... My parents had a root kit that I couldn't manage to get rid of causing problems about 2 years ago. A couple weeks ago, I searched for "YouTube" in an Incognito window and the first sponsored Link took me to a spam site - even though it clearly said Youtube.com.
