Jeff Jarvis As a Professor of Journalism and authoritative voice in your profession, I'd like to hear your take on this.?

A lot of article titles end up being over-exaggerated click bait. This one however is not. How in the world did anyone think it was a good idea to provide enough information to identify closed gay athletes, including ones from homophobic countries?

The Daily Beasts reaction to the outrage over this has been to edit out the identifying information from the article. Too little too late and one that also ignores why anyone would care that athletes, gay or not, are having sex, or why the author goes out of his way to be snide about gay athletes.
