G+_Eddie Foy
all the smart watches I've seen thus far are way too big. I like Mavdos over Rolex, sleek and thin,
G+_William Burlingame
Eddie, that's the problem I have with them. I wear a Casio that I paid less than $20 for and the battery life is measured in years. I've been wearing a wrist watch for more than 60 years. I did try a pocket watch for a while, but went back to a wrist watch. The gold pocket watch I have was my grandfather's retirement.
G+_Eddie Foy
I would have made the strap into the battery. Replaceable, and offloads the battery bulk. (not exactly an easy engineering task, but I'm sure some smart gal or guy could figure it out.)
G+_Ben Reese
Eddie Foy? I thought about this too, but I could see difficulty in keeping it flexible and still being puncture proof. Maybe if it was made if multiple hard battery links, but that might get bulky or heavy too.
G+_Ben Reese
I got a Pebble a week ago for my birthday. Off the first charge it lasted 5 days before I to plug it in. Since I don't always wear a watch, it doesn't bother me to just stick it on the charger for an hour or so a couple times a week. Other than that, I don't have to worry about the battery. Once Android Wear gets to that point I'll be more interested; for now, the Pebble does about everything I need it to.
G+_Scotty Stock
I think you should modify it to have a wider strap. That way it fits more securely on the arm. More like this: -> http://goo.gl/DgbuZv
