G+_John Green
I am a Verizon customer and I use Google Wallet at a number of stores. I don't know what Florence Ion is talking about the "until Google Wallet" works on Verizon. It already does! Love your show?
G+_John Adams
I too use Google Wallet on Verizon. Used this morning @ Panera Bread.
G+_Paul Gephart
This might be a dumb question but in order to use google wallet I have to move money over to that account not just have it linked to my debit or credit card?
G+_Matt Orth
Paul Gephart You can link it to a debit or credit card. Google wallet uses a virtual Master card to mask your actual card information from the vendor.
G+_Paul Gephart
I linked it to a debit card, didn't move money to the google wallet account went to use it the transaction was declined and I haven't tried it again
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
I haven't linked it to a debit card but to a credit card; I don't know if that matters. But I used it at Walgreens recently and it worked just fine. And I'm on Verizon.
G+_Paul Gephart
I will have to try again this time maybe add a credit card
G+_Steve Giralt
I just linked to my bank account and transfer money in when needed. Usually takes about 4-5 seconds for funds to become available.
G+_Paul Gephart
Steve Giralt that is more work then just using a debit or credit card
G+_Steve Giralt
Paul Gephart? I'm actually quite fond of it for budgeting purposes. I'll load a static amount of money in there and use either the tap and pay or physical wallet debit card. Bonus: If the card ever gets compromised I have less risk than using my debit card. ? G+_Paul Gephart
Steve Giralt Sorry I assumed that you ment that you did that for every purchase, I understand keeping money separate for budgeting and security reasons.
G+_Steve Giralt
Paul Gephart you are correct, that would be a big pain to do all the time... Of course, it's also fun to use the tap and pay - so that's probably worth a little fiddling with your phone ?
