This just crossed my mind...

Thoughts?

Passing thought... The next big Internet related stuff?

Well, how about the personal tip jar?

What's that, you ask?

- Something that you can attach to your verified personal identity on the internet. It appears next to your user name everywhere.

- People can make micro donations into that jar for whatever reason... from "I like this guy" , to "that witty thing you posted deserves a buck" , or "here is my two cents" , or have a coffee on me or, "have a buck, buy yourself some brains" , etc.

- Of course, if the donations are piling up, they must be declared as some sort of incidental revenue.

- only very small amounts, a buck or two can be tipped each day by the same person in the same jar.

- You can also tip others from your jar, or make donations to charity, but you can't buy stuff.

- The personal tip jar is tied to your bank account, and you can transfer cash from the jar into the account once a month or so. Also, you can put a limited amount of cash into your own jar each month, to have cash to tip other people.

- The tipping process must be only a click or two on the icon next to the recipient's user name, wherever it appears on the Internet. A drop down menu with set amounts and a "tip" button.
