G+_Fran Michalak
Has anyone here used autoremote with raspberry pi3 ? I've had it working fine with no issuses and got a new phone and now i can not send messages while on home network. It works fine if I'm NOT on home wifi
G+_Ben Reese
I still haven't tried Autoremote myself, but it looks like Autoremote might have its own web server on the Pi? Port 1817 if I'm understanding the FAQs correctly. https://joaoapps.com/autoremote/faq/ Does Autoremote relay through their servers if you're on a separate network but connect directly if on the same network? I think you'd be able to "nmap localhost" on the Pi to see if port 1817 is open. I may have to go ahead and install Autoremote to see how it works. G+_Ben Reese
Fran Michalak?? - I did some more research on how Autoremote works. Is it configured to use your public IP/domain name, or does it have an option for the internal IP also? If you remember, you were having problems with the Comcast router blocking the loopback connection - meaning, you can access service from the inside using your public IP. If that makes sense. I couldn't find anything about how to enable it, but one forum suggested setting static routing rules under the LAN tab may work.
