G+_Stuart Davies
Hey guys, just watched the episode on TrueCrypt. I want to be able to secure information on a pc where i don't have administrator privileges, a pc in work, internet cafe etc. Does anybody know if this is possible? as TrueCrypt needs admin priv to install the on the fly driver. G+_Alex Knutson-Smisek
There is a version of truecrypt that can be run off a usb drive. No need to install on the specific machine you're using: http://www.truecrypt.org/docs/?s=truecrypt-portable
G+_Stuart Davies
if i am reading it right you still need administrator privileges to install the device driver that TrueCrypt uses to encrypt on the fly

G+_Cole Brodine
I've used Toucan to batch encrypt individual files before. It doesn't need Admin privileges and has a nice portable app you can run from a flash drive.
