G+_Eric Harrison
Why would i get two very different wifi speeds on two different devices in the same location?
G+_Eddie Foy
2.4/5.8 Ghz, proximity, antenna, radio, orientation, chipsets, battery level/power, other stuff. RF is a fickle business.
G+_Ben Reese
I see it happen on all my devices too. Just got 70 Mbps on HTC 10, 25 on HTC M8, 10 on Galaxy S3 (20 later), and 38 on iPhone 6. Same 5 Ghz AP 20 ft and 1 floor away. I always just chalked it up to difference in radios, antennas, and processors.
