G+_Luke Kolarsky
Hey, so about a month ago our router finally died (it was a Linksys WRT54GS) and we now have a Linksys EA6500. It works great... in some rooms. With the old router we got decent speeds pretty much every where we needed it, but with the new one we get amazing speeds when we're about 20 ft (max) from it. Also some of our older computers randomly disconnect/won't connect at all. Moving the router to a better location isn't really an option. Any help is appreciated! G+_Timothy Hamlett
You might want to switch the devices from 5ghz to the normal 2.4... The higher frequencies give higher bandwidth nearer the router but have a harder time getting through walls etc. As for the older devices, you might need to enable older standards (such as wireless N or G)
