Darlene Morrow, I collect computers that are no older than 5 years, and I hook them up to tvs around the house. Here is my tip for you if you use Plex. Put the shortcut to Plex in startmenu/allprograms/startup. When Plex starts, hit printscreen while the screen only says Plex in the middle. go to paint, and hit ctrl+v, save and set as desktop wallpaper. You should now hide your taskbar. Also, there are programs you can use to replace the windows startup/login screen. For my living room pc, I went the extra step of replacing the bios picture. Now, when anyone presses the power button on the machine, it looks like all it's doing is loading Plex the entire time. According to the P.A.R. System, it was a complete success! I managed to cheaply upgrade an older machine with a new graphics card and ram, and convert it into a set top box.

Note, if you do this, switch out the hdd for an old 40gb, as this computer doesn't need to store anything but windows, and Plex. It also works great if you get a graphics card that makes use of hdmi versus VGA.
