G+_Wayne Flittner
Trying to set up my raspberry pi 3 as a plex media server for when I go camping. I plan on using the RPi3 to store and manage the files on a usb drive and then connect to the RPi3 via the WiFi with a Apple TV. I can install the Plex app on the ATV. I've followed the instructions on the KH Episode 301. The first part is to turn the RPi3 into an access point. Problem is once I do this then my ethernet, which is connected to my LAN, no longer stays connected to the LAN. The script from github they refer to works great. I get an SSID and I am able to connect using my password. That all works well. I need to be able to continue to connect to my LAN while it is connected to my home. Any suggestions? Also I am running the latest version of Raspbian-Stretch
G+_Jason Brown
I'd recommend getting a very small wireless router to take along with it. That way the PI can keep it's default settings and you don't have to keep messing with network settings.
