It got me thinking how many megapixels would HD be. While 1080p would be about 2.1 megapixels, 720p (which is still considered HD) is about 0.9 megapixels so it could do that just fine. G+_Joseph Cappellino
Scott Metter - I was thinking the same thing. Most front facing cameras are 1.3MP and record 720p HD video. That being said, most front facing cameras do tend to be a bit blurry/grainy.
G+_Scott Metter
For a still image yes, but for video I think our eyes tend to smooth out any graininess. I mean, for quite a long time we only had 640 x 480 which would be about 0.3MP which for a still image would be extremely grainy, but was fine for TV.
