Way cool: just for back from my Computer Organization and system programming class, and the prof announced we are starting work on the final small group project, which will be based around a raspberry pi. Looking forward to it!

 

I may post a guide here for what we did when we finish. We are going to build an internet enabled garage door opener, allowing you to replace a garage door opener with a phone.

Man, you stole my project! Sounds like a fun project - especially if it's done right with good security.

I'm going to be trying to do my best in that area! I've always had fun tinkering with networking and listening to security now, so I could probably do a halfway decent job on security.
