G+_Garage Geek Guy
Aaron Jaeger That's true. Most users prefer an opt-in instead of an opt-out for big changes like that. Google is really trying to leverage it's GMail and YouTube user base to try to make Google Plus take off. Makes sense to me, but Google better be careful... G+_Garage Geek Guy
Aaron Jaeger Good point, and I am ok with opt-out for less dramatic features. How many non-savvy Gmail users out there haven't even noticed the tabs and simply aren't seeing the email that is getting diverted to those tabs? G+_Garage Geek Guy
Aaron Jaeger For example, if my mother used Gmail (she doesn't) - this feature would break her experience until someone expressly showed her what was going on.

G+_Garage Geek Guy
John Wolf I don't like change when it's intent is to fix something that wasn't broken. Gmail was already working perfectly for me - their spam filtering is VERY good.

G+_Ryan Kelly
My only complaint with the new gmail app is I get double notifications. One is the regular gmail symbol and the other is different. Its weird because its not all the time and its not always the same tabs that get duel notifications.

G+_Josh Johnson
You can change it back. I tried it for a week or so and just decided to go back to how it was.

G+_Brandon Gosch
I absolutely hated it. I looked how to disable very fast. I hated not getting notified of all emails on my phone. Good in concept and may be good for some users. But not for me.
