G+_Tom Gehrke
Meant to share this here... *sigh* Originally shared by Tom Gehrke I'd really like an updated Nexus 10 running Android. I don't think I want a 10" inch tablet running Chrome OS, but I could be wrong. Apps written for the desktop don't typically translate well to a tablet environment. Just not sure I see the play here. http://gigaom.com/2013/11/25/chrome-os-tablet-nexus-10/
G+_Joseph Cappellino
I'm kinda on the fence as I prefer the size of the N7 for portability, but getting all of the added features of ChromeOS in a more portable form factor than an ultra-light would be great. Plus, it's being a Nexus, it would probably be easy to dual boot!
G+_Adam Favre
How do you envision Chrome OS handling the "desktop" space. On the laptop version there is nothing but background. Having some issues with doing what I need/want to do and am struggling to use it to replace windows machine.... still not giving up though. G+_Alan Char
I don't really have any experience with Chrome OS, and I don't really want to experiment with it for the price of a ten-inch tablet. If the Nexus 10 is Chrome OS, I may have to get a Samsung tablet instead. Or maybe LG will make their version of the ten-inch available with Android. G+_Wade Shields
I imagine the touch experience would be similar to the Pixel. Alas, I've never played with a Pixel to know if I'd like it. Very interesting.
G+_Alan Char
Wade Shields This is the issue, isn't it? :) Not very many people know what a ChromeOS tablet experience would be like. They know either Android tablets or ChromeOS laptops.
G+_Adam Favre
Is there an advantage that seems apparent to android and chrome OS experienced?
G+_Mark Scholes
I could see Google selling a Surface like chrome tablet. But also I expect chrome to be integrated more into android, making chrome apps first class android apps
