Is the Xtreem QuadForce Video Drone still the go to choice for a beginner trainer? I saw the recommendation on Ep. 115 but I wanted to know if that had changed before I went ahead and bought one.

I don't know if there's any difference between the Swann QuadForce and the Syma X5 (other than fancy colors and higher price), but I have the Syma and it has proven to be a stable, easy to fly trainer. I purchased two at the same time thinking that I would crash it a lot and would need the extra parts, but so far I haven't needed the other X5.

Whether you buy the Swann or the Syma, order more batteries at the same time. I got the 600 Mah batteries and they just fit. Everyone seems to regret only having the one battery.

Thank you both very much I just ordered an Syma X5C-1. It's shipping from China so I'll be waiting awhile.
