G+_Marc Kline Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 The Commodity project provides open source, decentralized mesh networking software for PC's, tablets, smartphones, etc. I love both the purely technical aspects of this project as well as the practical solutions it provides for activists, free speech advocates, and human rights observers. It also raises a few important sociopolitical questions, some of which have been discussed in the context of other stories on TWiT. For example: what are the consequences of tech like this getting into the hands of "the bad guys"?
