How would I go about finding the voltage for a 120mm fan I bought them from the local electronics flea market and can't find anything about them, i don't have a variable power supply to check it

Anything 12VDC or lower should be fine. Voltage will determine fan speed, lower voltage lower fan speed. Heck, you could even go higher but you would burn it up faster.

I have a small batch of 120mm fans that were made for 120v. If that is the case for you, you won't hurt them with the 5v-12v. of a pc. They just won't go. :) The 120v fans I have were made as cabinet fans... not computer case fans, but you would not necessarily know it to look at them.

Use a computer power supply, test on 12VDC if it don't spin try AC receptacle
