G+_Donald Kloss
I have a fire stick with the stock amazon batteries when I tried to put in brand new non amazon branded batteries it doesn’t work, I put the amazon ones back in and it works fine, does anyone else use different batteries for the fire stick
G+_Travis Hershberger
You mean for the remote? I've replaced the batteries in my Fire Box remote with generic rechargeables. It was a little I'd in that the batteries were supposed to be loaded the same way instead of opposite was like most other devices.
G+_Rickbearcat
I'm almost convinced this is a troll post.
G+_Jeff Gros
Measure both sets of batteries with a volt meter. If its AA or AAA, it should be 1.5V.
G+_Donald Kloss
I’ll check it and see the voltage, I’m using the old batteries right now I just get an error saying the batteries are to low
G+_Akira Yamanita
A quick Google search reveals others with similar issues, not with branded batteries, but unjustified "low battery" messages and a battery drain issue. You could just have a faulty remote.
G+_Ben Tyger
Battery chemistry difference? Ni-CA, Ni-mh, Li, etc..
G+_G Atkinson
I use Ni-mh in mine all the time. Enloop I think.

G+_Donald Kloss
Sorry for the late response I ended up buying another fire stick for the time being, I’m using the old batteries in the old remote which is still working, when I tested the new batteries the voltage was lower then usual, gotta love prime day ?
