G+_Michael Fullarton
Looking for some opinions. I want to get a new laptop but I'm not sure what. I want something mainly just for everyday things, no gaming at all. Something light weight, decent on battery with above average performance. Been looking at the Dell XPS 13's and the 13" Macbook Pro's. Any other machines I should be looking at? Opinions on the ones I mentioned?

G+_Michael Fullarton
Dennis Holland Jr. I've played with those and didn't really like them. Little too small for my liking.

G+_Mike Zwarich
My old laptop was a Dell XPS, and I was very pleased with it. ? Good build quality, good performance, good support.
G+_John Adams
I just purchased this ( http://goo.gl/5JvJDC ) based on Fr. Robert liking the Acer Aspire S7. I went MS signature series based on Paul Thurott's recommendation. $400 dollar discount didn't hurt.
G+_Evan Carew
Hmm, looks like the Dell 13 and 15 also come with decent support in Ubuntu.
