G+_Todd Nielsen
I'm currently using an eero system directly connected to my cable modem. It functions as my router and access points. Would I have more feature control if I place the eero in bridge mode and add a synology router ahead of the eero and turn the wireless radios off in the synology? G+_Black Merc
Not bridge mode... AP(access point). Bridge mode only to wirelessly link back to the router/ap.
G+_Robert Short
i have the comcast modem set in bridge mode to allow my Asus router to be my firewall and primary first point when i had it set as a router also I had configure to many routers ports to get some of my devises from the web. i have 2 other routers set like the 3 dumb router that Padre talked about was way to much of a hassle when 4 router were active.
