G+_Jason Perry
That's great to hear. I got mine in the pre-docker days so I found that out early on. It only works on Intel boxes, and though mine is an Intel box mine is left out. Since you just got your box I don't have to tell you to check out some of the newer apps Synology has been releasing lately. Don't forget though to go back into package manager open the description and click on the auto update check box.
G+_Francis Kindred
Jason Perry Yup thanks for letting me, missed the auto update check. Silly question did you have to do port forwarding DS Cam? Not a big fan of opening ports.
G+_Jason Perry
Francis Kindred?, I am a bad boy. I use quick connect. So easy, not the option I should use, eventually it will be via VPN.
G+_Francis Kindred
Jason Perry I tried with quick connect but seems to be having issues connecting. I dont need port forwarding right?
G+_Francis Kindred
Jason Perry Actually I did get DS Cam to work on external wifi and LTE. I originally tested it at work and couldnt connect. I'm thinking work firewall is probably blocking the 5000 port.
