G+_Jonathan Cleary
7. App selection is better and the UI is more sensible than the Amazon skin.
G+_Bobby Coggins
Neither of them have an SD Card. Wait for them to come out with a version that have an SD Card slot. This is what I am doing.
G+_Wayne Randall
Depends on your intended use. ~Are you a Google man? I went all-in with Google years ago, so a 7 made perfect sense for me because Google's services are well integrated. ~I'll refrain from any idevice comment. ~Do you use Amazon's services as primary? ~Do you want specs to brag about, or be part of a crowd? There are several good options, none of them are poor when used for what they excel at. Google services, Apple services, Amazon services. Pick your poison. G+_Jonathan Cleary
You can always USB otg if storage is your problem, though admittedly it isn't as nice as an SD card solution. Also, waiting has some merit. A Nexus 7 refresh is on the way along with a 7 inch Windows RT solution under the Xbox banner. Both will be very intriguing. G+_John Mink
Even if you use mostly Amazon services, they're still available over the Nexus 7...so go nexus 7, unless you need more storage, in which case wait.
G+_William Tatum
OMG Nexus 7, its not even a comparison Better hardware, no bloatware(and I love Amazon), faster update cycle. Hands down Nexus 7.

G+_Felix Adewoye
I have learnt patience is a virtue in these matters having watched the apple merry go round.
G+_Wayne Randall
They decided to not include SD cards because they want you to use their cloud services. Small hardware storage, small starter cloud, yearly subscription to large cloud.?
G+_Joe Diamond
I have both. I strongly recommend the Nexus 7. Better hardware, more apps, most up-to-date OS, more customizable. I could go on forever.
