G+_Brent Burnette
PC encryption question: my pc has an ssd + spinning hd installed. If I wanted to use TrueCrypt to encrypt all my data, how would I set it up so that one password on boot would allow access to both drives? I use my hd for media shares across my network. Thanks! G+_Dallas Traina
This interests me as well as I share media across my network also. But I have a side question to Brents. I use Bitlocker, is it possible to do the same thing and is it as good has TrueCrypt?
G+_Lee Roche
Can you use the pre-boot system encryption option?
G+_Lance Lovett
I dont like the bios password option but this is an interesting thread. I think another full show on encryption should be done the most recent ones had errors (Show 50) or were confusing (The trucrypt ep) Focus on setup and ease of use with freebies and definitely encourage usage throughout KH series. No history or explaining differing types (AES vs ???) spend more time really covering meat and potatoes
G+_Akira Yamanita
From the FAQ (http://www.truecrypt.org/faq): Can I configure TrueCrypt to mount automatically whenever Windows starts a non-system TrueCrypt volume that uses the same password as my system partition/drive (i.e. my pre-boot authentication password)? Yes. To do so, follow these steps: Mount the volume (to the drive letter to which you want it to be mounted every time). Right-click the mounted volume in the drive list in the main TrueCrypt window and select 'Add to System Favorites'. The System Favorites Organizer window should appear now. In this window, enable the option 'Mount system favorite volumes when Windows starts' and click OK.
