G+_Franklin Joseph Ambo
I’m hoping there someone within this communitie that can help me with the following. I’m looking for an app that can manage my data connection. Let me explain exactly what I'm looking for when i say manage my data connection. “Data on for 1 or 2 minutes, data off for 15 to 30 minutes” and this action will be ongoing. When I Had a Nexus 5 I used Deep Sleep Battery Saver, now I have a OnePlus One and Deep Sleep Battery Saver dose not work (and just to point out my OnePlus One is not rooted) Thanks for your time Frank
G+_Neil McDonald
You could do it with Tasker. Take a look here, it sounds like someone has already done something similar - http://androidforums.com/tasker/658067-how-do-i-turn-data-every-hour-5-minutes-tasker.html
G+_Franklin Joseph Ambo
Thanks Neil McDonald I was hoping to try and avoid using tasker, because it's not the easiest of apps to use, but if there is no other choice i'll have to use it. But i'll give it a day and see what recommendations people come up with ?
G+_Shawn Co
I wonder if ittt can do it... supposed to be a simpler tasker
G+_Neil McDonald
Franklin Joseph Ambo No problem. Yes, Tasker takes a while to learn. Just in case there's nothing else, I've created the profile for you. You should just be able to import it into Tasker after saving it to your phone (click on the Profiles header in tasker and select import). Make sure it's turned on and click and hold the tasker icon in the top left until it is enabled too. It will wait for 30 mins, turn data on for 2 mins, turn it off again and repeat.
