I am streaming TWiT from the chrome tab on my laptop to the Chromecast. There is a tiny bit of a lag but its hardly noticeable . But over the last 20 minutes or so that I've been streaming on the Chromecast it is more reliable than the Roku3. The later will normally drop the steam and begin buffering about every 10 minutes and at times the audio will drop out. But so far so good on the Chromecast playing from the tab. Streaming from the tab on my Samsung chromebook is very poor due to the lag.

Glad to hear! Trying to stream live with the TWiT app on my S3 is soooo unreliable!

+Gaurav Kumar I have cast a tab from my Samsung Chromebook but it is unwatchable because of the extreme lagging.

I haven't yet tried streaming from my laptop or desktop, but I set it up using my Galaxy Nexus phone and it worked perfectly. The few videos I've streamed so far had no buffering or stuttering whatsoever. Am I able to switch from using my phone to using my laptop on the same dongle, on the same TV?

Now I haven't had any trouble otherwise using Chromecast with my Chromebook. It works fine with youtube and netflix casting. My desktop is is not on the wifi network. Also disappointed that I can't cast a tab from my Nexus tablet.
