G+_john ferris
Oh interesting, another thing to attach to my TV. Why not just have a Chromecast and a phone, tablet, pc and just "cast" to the monitor/TV. What I can access and the software to access will be updated on the casting device, and I don't have plug another thing into my TV. Am I just too simple. G+_James Karaganis
That's all I do. Streaming from services like Netflix and a private Plex server via Chromecast.
G+_Michael Kerr
$10 a month fee and available ONLY if I sign up for a 12 month contract... No thanks. I'll stick with my own Roku and not bother.
G+_Josh Frye
Don't forget the last part of this story. That this could be done with the Roku,Apple TV, Android TV, Xbox, Play station, possibly Tivo and smart tvs. Thinking Chrome cast support on the mobile apps would not be far behind. Michael Kerr Remember this is only a one year test anyway. It ends in 2016. So final pricing has not been determined. And I would pay that 10 bucks a month. My apartment complex charges 55 a month just for 75 channels. And they don't say what those channels even are. They could be 50 channels of XM/Sirius music. G+_Trent Ferguson
Already replaced one cable box with Roku, it's pretty good but not perfect cloud DVR would really put this over the top
