G+_John Ross
Well they're "Working Day and Night to assess what happened" (G) For only $19.95 /month they will monitor your Canadian account for fraud!!! Is Skivy the word for this? TransUnion doesn't appear to be much different. From their Canadian Website: Are you concerned you are affected by the Canadian impact of the breach against Equifax? We are still investigating, but this is what we know now: Only a limited number of Canadians may have been affected. We are working on finding out how many. The breach is contained. At this point, it seems the personal information that may have been breached includes name and address and Social Insurance Number. We will update this information as we learn more. What should you do? We recommend that you remain vigilant of incidents of fraud and identity theft by reviewing account statements and monitoring your credit reports. If you believe you are the victim of identity theft, you should contact the proper law enforcement authorities, including local law enforcement. Please be aware that the US website is set up for US social security numbers, and does not work for Canadian consumers. We are working night and day to assess what happened. --They must be getting pretty tired by now... Who the hell writes something like that ?
