G+_Shooter_FPV (Shooter_FP
So not sure how many of you were following this, but for the past few months I was building an R/C car for my son for Christmas... well he opened it tonight... and his exact words were “my mind is blown...”, which is sorta what I was looking for... lol. Unfortunately with a flash 2 inch snowstorm this morning, and high temps for the next week not going above 25, he won’t get to use it for a while. Our house is way too small for how fast it moves. But I’m just glad he liked it... and it was nice to build something for someone else... Merry Christmas all!!
G+_Todd Barnard
I was hoping for an update! I'm and F1 fan, it looks looks incredible. What is the minimum sized printing bed req'd for this?
G+_David Peach
Congratulations! This whole "dreaming of a white Christmas" thing is overrated when your gifts are outside gifts.
G+_Shooter_FPV (Shooter_FP
Todd Barnard Well my printer is 200x200x200, and the chassis is 2 pieces anyway, so it fit with room to spare. The yellow body parts printed vertical, so the height was way below that as well.
G+_Shooter_FPV (Shooter_FP
David Peach Yea, no kidding... ugh... And I just heard that it will be below freezing for at least the next 10 days...

G+_Shooter_FPV (Shooter_FP
Todd Barnard If you can swing it (cost) it’s probably the best thing to invest in. Just make sure you do a lot if research and ask plenty of questions...
G+_Edvardas Rimkus
I was wondering how long did it take to print all the parts for the car?
G+_Shooter_FPV (Shooter_FP
The bigger parts were about 9 hours or so I think. The nose, center and rear are 3 separate parts. The chassis is two parts. The printer is at my work office so I started the prints before leaving for the day, they’d be done when I came in the next morning.
