G+_Mike Meyer
I've got a project I'd like to permanently attach to my PC. Front of the case would be great, and ti's got this cutouts already built in it where one would fit. But there don't seem to be any option any panels on newegg/amazon/eba suitable for DIY hardware mounts, or any panels on banggood or thingiverse at all. Is this just a bad idea? Are desktop systems so far out of style nobody is interested? Or am I just not using the right search terms?
G+_Travis Hershberger
Not many people have a need for custom covers. Shouldn't be to difficult for someone to design one.
G+_Mike Meyer
Not the cover, just the front panel. Something like this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA50M2EH2271&cm_re=pc_front_panel_fan_contrl-_-9SIA50M2EH2271-_-Product, but with a mounting bits for my hardware. And yeah, I was surprised I didn't find ANY PC front panels on thingiverse. I managed to get mine working by tweaking the cover that came with it, so I won't be adding one. newegg.com - 5.25"PC Front Panel 4 Channel Touch Screen Cpu Cooling Fan Controller,5.25 inch PC Universal Media Dashboard Front Panel with LCD touch screen black Touch control 4 fan speed controller
G+_Mike Meyer
That assortment of covers isn't quite it, but certainly close enough to work well. Thanks!
